Pet Peeves: Watching other dogs go to the bathroom and their owners not picking it up. Especially in the Ocean!!!! Favorite Dog Beach: Del Mar Dog Beach Favorite Dog Park: Balboa Park! Favorite Toy: Laser & Tennis Balls (He's addicted to both) Favorite Food: I and LOVE and YOU pet food! Jojo's Story: 2 years ago dad was deployed and mom and JOJO were about to go to Balboa park for a walk. They were locking the door as two large dogs got out of their home and cornered Jojo and Josephine. They lunged and attacked both of them leaving Josephine to get stitches and Jojo on his death bed. Thousands of dollars and surgeries later Jojo was able to survive. Time and rehabilitation brought Jojo to do the necessities of life but gave him a hard time to walk. From the lack of exercise he gained 10 pounds. We tried to get water therapy but it being so costly, we couldn’t afford the ability to keep up with it. Dad finally came home and was able to take Jojo in the ocean to swim around. We were at Delmar when we saw our first dog surf and tried one of SoCal surf dogs for exercise and fun purposes. It literally saved his life. He lost 10 pounds from eating I and love and you and surfing. He’s gained full mobility and it has brought the family together from a traumatic experience to show the world never give up and always think positive. Surf Dog Competitions: None yet but plan on winning first.
