SoCal Surf Dogs founding member Dina Demeo organized a “SoCal Surf Dogs Team” for
“The Amazing Race for Children’s Wishes” that was held in Coronado on Saturday, April 20th 2013. The Amazing Race for Children's Wishes was sponsored by the three Coronado Yacht Clubs and all the proceeds benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of San Diego. The 16 teams raised over $50,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The event started at the Coronado Yacht Club and participants raced through various challenges at community stops that they went to via bicycle. This was the 5th annual event and there was a lot of local community participation. The event ended at CYC where participants were rewarded with a live band, a great meal and a live auction. We also also got to meet current and past wish kids and hear their stories. |

2012 Rose Parade AuditionsThe SoCal Surf Dogs went up to Irwindale California
on November 16th, 2011 to audition for a spot on the 2012 Rose Parade Float for Natural Balance. The entry will set a record for the heaviest and longest float in Rose Parade history. |

 The SoCal Surf Dog participated
in the 4H Club's "Dog Learning Days" at Felicita Park in Escondido on Sunday 02-27-11. What a beautiful day! We met a lot of great kids who are dedicated to their dogs! |

and supported the San Diego Cure Canine Cancer Walk on February 19th, 2011 at Walnut Grove Park in San Marcos. |
