Salsa's Story: I am a Vegas girl (that’s where I was born) mom came to actually look at another puppy but for hours I followed her around and would not let her out of my sight. We have been soul mates ever since. I moved to the Desert with my mom for the 1st year before coming to San Diego. We had horses so I loved to trail ride with my mom and my brothers and sisters. I learned Agility and loved jumping and running at high speed, and climbing. I didn’t want treats or toys I just loved to run with mom. I was going to be a show dog, but hated standing still and being clean all the time, I am such a tomboy. My mom has always worked with dogs so I have friends over everyday and we go to the beach all the time. Until 2010 I didn't like the water, and would only run in the sand. I finally tried it out and LOVE it. This summer I tried surfing and I love it. I'm still new to it , so I know I have a lot to learn. My favorite thing is Mom and she jokes that if she could wear me as a backpack I would be the happiest (and I would). Luckily, she gets to have me around all the time, and I love working with her and going to different places all the time. I have a cat, and three dog siblings, Bitty and Doodie the Chihuahuas, and Halo my Mastiff sister who with me will become a therapy dog soon. Awards and/or Metals won Surfing: I just started summer of 2012, and I got a bronze in the large dog heat. I have some modest show puppy and agility awards too, but nothing fancy.
