Congratulations to all the competitors who participated in this years PPPIDC Surf Dog Competition. This year the Competition took place at the south end of the Huntington State Beach at the river mouth. What a Awesome location. Big beach, Great surf, Plenty of parking....... The break there was perfect for all the dogs and the competition was close. Hope other competitions consider this location for their events! Here are the winners.........
At first glance, this seems like an odd music video with no real rhyme or reason. On January 25th, 2015 a few SoCal Surf Dog Members joined SoCal Surf Dog Member Dawn Celapino (of Leash Your Fitness) and 250 dogs and their owners to attempt a world record for the most Doggies and Humans doing Yoga. Benficiary of the event was the San Diego Humane Society. The yoga Session was expertly run by Yoga Master Stacy McCarthy (http://www.yoganamastacy.com/) The unofficial count was 265 The SoCal Surf Dogs joined the SoCal SUP Dogs and Isle Surf & SUP at the 'Sweep the Bay' clean up at Glorietta Bay in Coronado California on Saturday 01/10/15 The event was organized by Isle Surf & SUP and you could demo all their SUP's including 'MEGALODON'. It was a beautiful warm sunny day and I can't believe how much trash we picked up in that small part of the bay.
