Saturday, June 16, 2012, Scott Chandler will attempt to set 4 world records at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort's Surf Dog Competition by surfing the most dogs on one surfboard, the most dogs tandem with a human, the most dogs with a human paddling on a SUP and the most dogs with more than one human. The ASPCA is the beneficiary of this event. On Sunday, June 10th 2012, the SoCal Surf Dogs joined Scott at Dog Beach in Del Mar to practice the logistics required to make this happen. The following dogs participated in the practice: Back to front…. Nani, Stanley, Louie, Missy, Ollie Knute, Coco, Ricochet, Cleo, Kiwi, Mookie, Antonio, Jack and Zoe. Woof! Navy Seals clearing the beach for the Loews Coronado Bay Resort's Surf Dog Competition. You Don't want to mess with these guys!!!  Cool You Tube video of the 6th annual Helen Woodward Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon  Best Surf Competition EVER! The best surf dogs showed up for the most competitive surf competition yet, The 6th annual Helen Woodward Animal Center's Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon! A hugh crowd came to cheer on the best of the best! No tricks, stunts or Drama Queens, just hard core Surf Dogs doing their thing!! The surf was great despite the 'Red Tide'. Buddy the Jack Russel Terrier from Venture took first place and was the First Surf Dog Entered into the 'Surf Dog Hall of Fame'. Buddy you ROCK! SoCal Surf Dog Nani, a Bernese Mountain Dog, won second place and SoCal Surf Dog Dozer an English Bulldog (AKA 'Da Bull') won third. The SoCal Surf Dogs won the 'Doo the Dah as Well! (We will post all the winners in all the heats in another post) The SoCal Surf Dogs cleaned up again! Woof! The Biggest and most prestigious Surf Dog Competition in America (and the world for that matter) with the most Surf Dogs (over 80) takes place tomorrow at Dog Beach in Del Mar.
